Pros

Office Location in Porto. Work with banking.

Cons

The other reviews are pretty much on point. Managers are terrible, they have absolutely no soft skills. You have no career progression, they look at employees as a meatbag that they have to pay at the end of the month. They won't care or listen to employees expectations. Technical level is terrible as all the talented people leave the company after 1/2 years (employee retention must be pretty bad), the do not care about code quality (some of the 'managers' are still coding and some of them are actually really bad programmers). They will hire mostly interns as they don't want to pay decent salaries. People get hired to work in one city and then sent to other city (permanently) as they said they were willing to travel in the interview. Overall culture of the company is bad, management doesn't want to be accountable for anything that happens. People say late because its a good look to be seen 'working' long hours. Other people won't hesitate in stabbing you in the back if it benefits them.

- Low salaries; - Sell old projects as new to clients; - No requirement analysis or unit testing => legacy code in the making; - Randomly assigned to projects with no feedback.

Pros

I was going to say I made a few friends but that cannot be attributed to the company as a pro..

Cons

Be very careful about who you talk to, they will stab you in the back. Pay attention to your salary, they will pay you much less than average, and then they will make you feel guilty for even thinking that you're underpaid. Lies all around... They will lie to your face as if it's nothing. They will expect you to work as many as 2 extra hours every day as if it were your duty. They will not let you move up in your career. In fact, they will deliberately block you. They will not allow you to improve or learn, you will probably be stuck in the same project in the same client for as long as they can. They do not care for what you can or cannot do. What matters is you showing up to work on time every day, and not making any fuss. That way the client pays and that's what they want. They do not care for work-life balance. In fact, they will most likely send you to another city, put you in a hotel room and make you go and come back every week. They will have no problem in not renewing your contract if they do not need you or if they find someone else willing to receive less. They will not set any kind of goals or career path. Managers will always be the same restricted circle of people. You will often have a manager/team leader/architect (yes, it is all the same in this company) that is far less capable than you. They will coerce you into working in places you do not want to. Company building up a bad reputation that will soon catch up.
