Pros

Can't think of anything positive about the role.

Cons

On the ad they mention a salary + commission. I went to their headquarters and was interviewed twice on two consecutive days, during none of which they "cared" to let me know that their ad is not accurate. It was on the very last minutes of the last day that they, vaguely and while coffee in a nonchalant fashion, let me know that this job has no salary and everything is commission based. They expect you to work 8 Am till 7 PM. Start and end every day at their office in Burnaby, and don't compensate you for any hours. You entirely depend on your own sales and commissions, which they claim to be enough. But, you even have to pay for your own commute to customers' offices. The company does not even "employ" you, to make sure they are not obliged to pay "any" benefits. So, this has neither the flexibility of a contract/commission based job (as they expect you to work from 8AM-7PM), and nor the benefits of a full-time job. It's a lose-lose situation for the employee. I got offered a job. However, I emailed them to highlight the misalignment of their job posting with the reality, to which they never cared to respond. That was the end of it.

Pros

I can't find any pros, because I don't think there is any. It was more like a multi-level marketing.

Cons

I only worked 1 day and quit the job. There is no employment contract, no benefits, all commission based. The working hours are from 8:15 to 19:00(long hours!!) You should do face to face marketing and you will be given a region to go and visit stores and businesses. The first 10 days are for training and so-called leaders will accompany you to train you. In the first day, we didn't sell anything at all. more than 20 visits and nothing! however, the managers said that at least you should sell 2 products or services per day. The training is nothing special. just teaching some quotes from inspirational books.

Thanks for your feedback. Working for 1 day doesn't allow you to have much understand or gain any type of "fruitful" experience. Maybe try and stick it out next time. Also-Why did you accept a performance based role when you knew before starting with us that it was?

Pros

At the very least, they have a daily pay in comparison to other compensation-based companies, who don't have any daily pays.

Cons

Try everything else. They basically hire anyone who can just read their script. The hours are outrageously long. They lied and said that the job was from 8:30-4:30. LIES! You have a team meeting at 7:30, then 30 minutes to spare before the national meeting... And THEN, the end of day meeting is at 4:30 and ends at 5 p.m., maybe even over that sometimes. That is inhumane. Unless I make a sale, I make $50 for an 8.5h shift. That is complete garbage. I am usually not a quitter, but this role burnt me out SO much in such a short amount of time that I had no other option but leave because it was so mentally and physically draining. Please don't work here! It is a waste of time and energy.
