Since it's a smaller company, you're more under the microscope. As long as you meet your goals and know/ do what is expected to achieve those goals, you'll be fine.
Recruiting is the lifeblood so if you're strictly looking to be a manager or coordinator and not recruit/ do sales, this might not be the best fit.
