Pros

Salary is a living wage. Unlike a lot of the other door-to-door sales schemes, they don't overwork you like a dog, which in this industry is only reasonable.

Cons

Before I moved across the country to take this job, I read the other Glassdoor reviews on here, reviewed the website and thought to myself, great! While I thought I had done my due diligence, clearly, I was wrong. A quick search on Google will reveal the true nature of this company, whether they are honest or not (I can't make a final judgement) they are overwhelmingly viewed in a negative light by the public. As such, if you're knocking on peoples doors - particularly in a place like Philadelphia - you will quickly discover that people DO NOT want to hear anything you have to say about renewable energy. Why? Because it's perceived as a scam and, unfortunately, people have experienced rate hikes, which is also a problem with Inspire. Bottom line - the company's integrity is questionable an. Having called out questionable sales tactics by colleagues on several occasions, the system for quality assurance is pitiful and the management will turn a blind eye to shady sales tactics if they are driving numbers. Because the company is bent on revenue generation, there is little room for creative input or flexibility outside of knocking on doors. Unfortunately, working for Inspire was anything but inspiring. If you're not skilled, enjoy hard sales and decent pay, this could be a great job for you!
