Pros

Work from home, travel abroad, relationship building

Cons

This is not a relationship manager role, it is a sales role! Constant pressure of reaching targets. No training or learning opportunities, no teambuilding due to WFH

Pros

Exposure to Financial Community and Asset Management Industry

Cons

Recruitment/Role: Not what was expected, it is a sales role and it should be made clear during the recruitment process -Extremely high pressure: unrealistic targets in short time spans -It is not about building relationships as advertised with investors but rather bringing in delegates = hitting targets -Repetitive, one dimensional, and challenging in the wrong ways (hard to get in touch with people, feels like we are constantly annoying people) -We have great talent in the wrong positions and roles totally mismatched -No support in achieving targets   - There is a famous saying in the office you either swim or you drown Other issues: The manager added a private number to what’s app group while on holiday constantly reaching out and demanding -Manager calls staff while on holiday. If staff is on another meeting with other staff, he demands the meeting to end abruptly so he can have his own meeting -Insulting and humiliating comments used to describe work efforts  -Anxiety across staff as there will be random calls at random times asking for multiple things at the same time Culture: -No transparency (Staff leaving is only communicated days before they do, at times it's communicated to us when they already left, people with years of experience are held on low salaries; -Bullying is part of everyday office work -Promotions are not based on merit but rather on whether you get along with the “privileged group” -Senior Management makes often unreasonable decisions and overrides any suggestions or inputs made by the junior or mid-management team -Issues you raised are discussed with people within the organization -You are overworked and when you succeed no reward, but any mistake made you will get shamed and humiliated
