Pros

You get a paycheck and they used to provide snacks, but that was more an encouragement never to leave your desk.

Cons

Management is pretty awful. Constant micromanagement, constant reminders of how the company isn't making any money and daily meetings that are more or less just a reinforcement of how terrible you, the employee is. Management is also very close minded and adverse against anything different, which is pretty hilarious for a technology company. You will be constantly required to work 50-60+ hours a week and yelled at if you don't report every second of your day.

Thank you for your feedback. We welcome all feedback because we are committed making ITG not only the best technology company but also the best place you've ever worked. That being said, I'm disappointed to hear about your experience. I will be considering your feedback and working to find ways to improve employee experience so that this doesn't happen again. I'd also like to specifically address a few concerns you listed here. First, as CEO I make it a point to listen closely to what my employees have to say, and if you did not feel heard or built up for your good work I sincerely apologize. Second, it is incredibly important for a technology company to track their time so we are able to know if the time we are spending on a project or other service work is beyond the agreed-upon job scope. Also, while it may be expressed by the client that they would like to work with the same technician at all times, what they are really asking for is continuity of service. Given that all employees will at some point be on vacation or out with an illness, our solution for continuity of service is an emphasis on documentation and cross-training. That principle is common across many companies and industries, including ITG. I am sorry that our values for those things are misaligned with yours. Again, thank you for your feedback, Paul Meadows, CEO

Pros

General business concept. Had the experience to work with some talented and knowledgeable technical personnel in addition to being exposed to small businesses versus large/corporate

Cons

High employee turnover. Attempted to mask Micromanage through other roles. All positions are overworked and underpaid. Trouble with financial stability, client relations, and employee retention due to over committing combined with insufficient planning prior to project acceptance. Management has unrealistic expectations. General business concept could be profitable but poorly executed. Temperament can be rather unhealthy.

Hello, and thank you for your feedback. I apologize for your negative experience and am disappointed to hear about it since we are committed to making ITG the best place our employees have ever worked. Listening to employees and staff members is important to me, so to hear that you didn’t feel heard or respected motivates me to work harder to improve. We are also passionate about setting our goals high and working hard to reach them. Sometimes we exceed our goals and sometimes we fall short, but we strongly believe that setting high goals and dreaming big is a characteristic of a successful business. We believe that reaching for highly-set goals is a sign of a healthy business; however, I do understand that not everyone shares that same sentiment. Thank you again for your feedback; we will be continuing to work to improve ITG. Paul Meadows, CEO

Pros

If you're a newbie, you can get familiar with the IT World... Or you can read an IT Book.. That's the most I can honestly think of

Cons

If you've been in this business longer than 12 mos, don't waste your time.. You'll be overworked and paid $10k-20k less than you're worth.. Technicians do network admin work.. Network admins do network engineer jobs and the environment is almost unbearable.. You'll be micromanaged ... You can barely take a day or weekend off... Everyone quits.. Customers Fire ITG after realizing that they've been sold poorly configured solutions that the CEO spearheads and not enough knowledgeable staff to support... It's a circus... The owners should just sell the company, retire and spend the rest of their lives hunting and fishing... Running a business just isn't for everyone... The minute you recognize your worth, you'll either get fired or promised something like a raise or profit sharing, but that time will never come... And OMG the contract that you HAVE to sign? Lol.. Only a newbie would sign that foolishness..

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate and consider all feedback given so that we can make ITG a better place for our employees to work. I'm disappointed to hear of your experience with ITG since it is our goal to make ITG the best technology company as well as make it the best place that our employees have ever worked. That being said, we are taking note of your stated concerns and are working to avoid repeating those mistakes. I also want to take a minute and specifically address a few of your concerns. By design, ITG is team-oriented. We strongly believe that in our industry, collaboration is one of our best tools for problem resolution. Thus, our environment is, by default, team-oriented; I apologize if you found that debilitating. We also make it a point to ensure that our employees are appropriately compensated for their work, and if you found that was not the case I do apologize. Thank you again for your feedback, Paul Meadows, CEO
