Pros

Many hard-working people work here

Cons

It was a good company at one time. Hard-working employees gave their best, and their efforts kept the company on the path of growth. Things changed when the CEO, Amy Letke, pushed people to go beyond their boundaries for profit. The pressure is what forced me, and many of my colleagues to exit gracefully.

I agree with your observation that our team members "bring it" everyday. Our team has a passion for what we do and are very engaged in providing "Great HR" for our clients. I feel fortunate to work alongside such a passionate team of professionals who are supportive of each other and the team collectively. In your short time with us, I'm sorry you weren't able to find a home here, and grow into this group of strong, supportive professionals. Best wishes, Amy

Pros

90% of the people are amazing, kind, and caring. So many amazing women there and the men were so kind and helpful. Most of the people there love the job and care about the client and other co-workers. Also, pretty flexible company and understanding. Oh, and you got some really fun parties and employee meetings!

Cons

Sadly, that's where the positive ends. As a woman owned company, and mostly female employees, I was so happy to apply and work there, sadly, it was not at all what I thought. I thought since the CEO was a woman, that she would be swift and ready to build up other women, especially ones younger than her and help them grow. I mean, her business is literally HR and helping companies navigate their employees correctly. But this was not the case. I constantly felt not good enough, put down, and blamed for things that weren't my fault. It's really sad because I LOVED the team and consultants, but I couldn't take the constant pressure with no guidance from the highest power. I honestly hated leaving, but it was causing me a lot of bad mental days. I felt like I was always on my own. I would be given tasks and then told to figure it out, but then told I should have asked for help. It was just very confusing, very hurtful, and not the amazing, empowering, and women leadership job I thought it would be. I hate to leave words like this, but based on my experience, I have to. If you want feel uplifted and appreciated, this may not be the place for you.

I hate to hear feedback like this and I do take your comments to heart. Sometimes we can't be all things to all people - and we don't always know a persons background, upbringing or expectations. Because you worked in marketing, you got to see my passion for this company that I founded and as you pointed out, I'm not a perfect person, but I strive to "bring it" everyday, support my direct reports and team members fully and help them grow as consultants and leaders. Being open to change, and learning something new can be of great benefit to us all. Best wishes, Amy

Pros

You will have an opportunity to gain skills in the HR field. Also, if you can take long hours as the norm, this is the place.

Cons

Management doesn't treat everyone fairly and have many favorites. Intense long hours and very late night shifts. You are expected to work 10+ hours a day. If you want to work here, you better be ready to say goodbye to your social and family life.

We take comments like this very seriously...and we're sad that we didn't hear about this when you were with us. We have solid retention levels on our team (my executive assistant was hired as we re-started the company in 2019, and I hope will be here for a very long time) and provide career paths, goals and job descriptions to help our newer team members become more acclimated to being a consultant. We also encourage all team members to bring concerns to their manager as well as any member of leadership - being able to address concerns quickly and reach resolution is important to us. We also have specific fundamentals as an organization - our team members need to "own" their own work life balance - knowing and communicating boundaries for when needing to take a break to "refresh and recharge". We want all our team members to be stewards of our most valuable resource - our team! Best wishes, Amy
