Even when you explicitly express how you want to advance professionally, no one at this company seems to care. The opportunities for growth are nonexistent and the managers made an already difficult job unbearable. It is also quite frustrating to see staff members in already upper level positions get meaningless promotions and raises while the majority of the work is executed by lower level staff. Concerning the salary, don't expect to get anything near a livable wage for NYC.
What you can expect is a CEO who comes into your office and tells you that they dread seeing your emails in their inbox. Great way to boost team morale.
