Pros

Positive mission, serving public interest

Cons

Everything the other reviewers wrote is very true and you shouldn't think things will be different for you. The organization almost belligerently or arrogantly doesn't have robust processes for team management, operations, HR reviews, check-in's, performance management and improvement. It's a social club for people who think they're morally superior. The company, though located in some of the world's most diverse cities, is belligerently not diverse and extremely monolingual and monocultural. The Glassdoor salary estimation which is based on the industry and the role is completely out of whack with what the company offers. The company offers below market wages and as most people state no additional benefits -- the company doesn't advertise the salary ranges though it is mandated by law. You should ask about the salary in the first interview and don't be shy about it. If you're ambitious and want to join this organization to advance your career, this isn't the place for you. You won't be happy. If it's a stopgap in your career, do the job, take the money and start looking for other jobs and better pay as soon as you start. It's not worth it.
