The moment, you enter JGI “Office of strategic communications and HR”, then you can be rest assured, as an employee you will be locked in a jail and the wardens of the jail will be two giant ladies. You will be a victim of, public Humiliation, cheap Gossips, and dirty politics by the senior women folks working there for more than 3 years

Cons

The so called HR department does not know the HR functions and they stick to this place because of their underrated (knowledge, communication and culture) which they are very much aware will not fit the dynamic corporate culture outside. They will have recruitment throughout the year and they are not sick and tired of it. Don’t waste your time and talent there.

Good for nothing except refreshments dey provide at times

Cons

Worst wrk culture especially for juniors. Software developers are hired only to humiliate them & assign them all low level wrk(excel sheet,report generation,documentation,testing) except development.

Have fairly good infrastructure, student centric, exposure to Industry through Guest Lectures and Linkedin Learning available for free

Cons

Only 12 holidays in a year, no sick leave, no insurance coverage, political environment and lack of team spirit, leadership is weak and does not have a focused vision as it keeps changing every year, stress on writing Research Papers and never ending reports. The culture here is very hostile and lacks basic principles like Respect, Loyalty, Compassion and Honesty. Money minded college but lack money management skills.
