      Great place to learn, Multi-disciplinary so discussions with different groups are great, freedom to work at any time, good hostel facility.

      Cons

      Principal investigators decide your period of stay with no freedom in our professional or personal lives. No student support. Highly partial towards administration and PIs and no value for student opinions. Lots of sacrifice.

Supportive faculty: Most PIs are approachable, encouraging independent thinking and critical analysis. They value good science and mentor students well in experimental design and writing. Vibrant academic culture: Regular seminars, journal clubs, and interdisciplinary talks help broaden scientific perspective. Beautiful campus: The institute has a peaceful, green campus that creates a great space for focused research. Fellowship and funding: The stipend is on par with top national institutes, and travel grants/conference support are available for performing students.

      Cons

      Limited career development sessions: While the academic exposure is excellent, workshops on alternate careers, soft skills, or industry transition could be more frequent. Work-life balance: Like most top-tier research institutes, workload can be intense, especially during experiments or manuscript writing.
