Pros

There are no pros to working at this establishment.

Cons

This review applies to all of the Johnson Dealerships located in Raleigh, Cary and Durham. There is a major problem with this company: the owner, C. David Johnson. He was described as a "tyrant" and I witnessed his behavior first hand. The word tyrant does not do him justice. I was advised to "avoid him at all costs", but that is impossible to do, as he is known to show up unannounced to berate his employees, most of whom he looks down on. He has zero integrity. Obviously, I would advise against applying for a job here. No level of desperation is worth it.

Pros

Some good brands and locations

Cons

The feel-good story doesn't line up, it's not a well organized company and beware of mysterious outsiders suddenly coming on the scene as upper management and flipping things upside down, service dept is an afterthought as well

Pros

* Best sales payplan in the region * Legally compliant so minimal funny business * Customer service focused * Good inventory and customer communication * On the verge of being a grown up company, just needs a little push over the edge

Cons

* Woefully unqualified and unprofessional upper management * Zero training. If you don't know the car business prior to joining, you will suffer and make no money if you are in sales and feel overwhelmed if you are in admin * Stupid policies made to stroke the egos of executives, not actual smart decision making that would make the job more profitable or efficient * Seriously some of the most incompetent people at the top who micromanage but somehow ignore essential problems at the same time. * Owner is a bully who expects everyone to kiss his butt - which they do * Hypocritical focus on culture while abusing staff and employees
