Supportive team and meaningful work, but communication could improve
Pros
KORTX has a talented, hardworking team that genuinely cares about their work. I met some of my best friends here, which speaks volumes about the company culture; they clearly do a great job of attracting people who work well together and genuinely support one another. The work itself was engaging and satisfying. I especially enjoyed creating content, interviewing SMEs, and seeing tangible results from my writing and strategy work. Goals and expectations were generally clear, and my manager was supportive, providing guidance and resources when needed. Compensation and benefits are strong.
Cons
Over the past year, there was a push for more in-person attendance and less flexibility, which created some uncertainty. Expectations around remote work and attendance weren’t always clearly communicated, which can lead to confusion or misalignment. Around the end of 2024, town hall messaging shifted from optimistic to cautious, which affected company morale at times. KORTX has incredible people and meaningful work. With better communication and transparent expectations, it has the potential to be an even stronger, more supportive workplace.
