The Napoleon dictatorship style of leadership has ran off key tenured members of the "team" in every department including heads of I.T. , sales , customer service and various others. Micromanagement, scare tactics and lack of integrity do not motivate people to follow or stay.

Product is ancient and way past end of life, by far the greatest tech debt I've ever seen. 1 full time QA engineer per 2 developers tells the story of the code quality. Projects are done quick/cheap to get things out the door. Tools used are free, which means some of them are versions from 2000s before they adopted licensing model. Bugs from production get cataloged and forgotten, contributing to tech debt (but that's tomorrows problem right?). Company follows Agile ceremonies and promotes they are Agile but behind the scenes its very much waterfall. Management is handcuffed by customers, they will bend over backward to keep them on.
