Pros

Flexible working policy, lots of great clients to work for

Cons

Very strange place to work, offered a job after a 3 stage interview process. Including two formal job interviews and a presentation involving creating a marketing strategy for two of their clients. They then waited a month for my notice period, we had consistent contact and everyone was very excited for my arrival. Offered 25k for a senior social media manager position involving creating all content, strategy, copy writing, scheduling and reporting for multiple clients. Asked for £30k due to my experience and accepted £28k. Was given a hierarchy document that put me at the same level as their creative intern. They had offered a high paying client full social media management services with no one in place to do this, so on my first day I was expected to start posting immediately and take an existing plan from someone with no experience in the industry. They had no idea of any social tools such as later or sprout. In the first week I was already working past the 6pm finish every night due to the mammoth workload. Was told a week into my new job they needed to see more results, which I asked for further follow up on and received no clarity. They then asked for a month upfront of content which I worked late to provide. Two weeks later they fired me despite reporting the best results they’d seen for the client in a company wide meeting to which I was given zero credit or mention. No induction or gradual process. Clearly had oversold to a client and had no way of providing the services offered. No check in process for new starters or help available. Avoid unless taking a position over from someone else Account director is overworked and over stressed, making frequent mistakes due to her high workload

Pros

They took me on as an intern with me being probably more honest than I should have been about my lack of experience. They continue to build my confidence up when I don't have it. The knowledge that they have acquired in 3 years is CRAZY and I'm constantly learning (which I'm never belittled for). They also invite me to everything as a way to learn which is great and have so much trust in what I do, giving me tasks from the get go.

Cons

The office dog isn't in every day.
