Pros

The compensation is good and the lack of things to do allows you to save money. If you like the desert there is PLENTY of it. For those with little education, this is one of the last places in America where a high school grad can work up to making over $100k a year.

Cons

There is nothing as far as housing goes unless you get company housing. Even then depending on specific situations, the company will take your non-company house. Everything is at least a 3 hour drive away, including medical attention. The people are very closed off and unwelcoming.

More cons than pros.

Pros

There is good pay and good hours. They have plenty of benefits to compete with other companies.

Cons

They are not as forthcoming with information to non management personnel as they could be. They hide and change their mind more with out telling employees until the last minute. Often making employees work days they expected to be off without. Upper management doesn't seem to be in control of employees. They have a list of values but only follow them when it is convenient for the bottom line. Health, safety and environmental issues only matter if it doesn't cost any extra money or slow production down.

Pros

- benefits That’s all I have for the pros.

Cons

- Toxic management is prevalent - Common for salaried employee abuse - requiring extreme amounts of additional work with no compensation. - Some managers promise and dangle promotions and then fail to follow through, repeatedly. - Company preaches allowing employees to move internally, and yet every young employee I knew at FK was stonewalled in their role. - Pay is far below market average, - Very clear when far less experienced male employees are hired on making a 30% margin over you that sex is a factor on pay, at least in some Departments.
