    I worked at Kwik-Fit full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Might get located to a centre close to your home
If you get a good centre manager you can have a 30 minute lunch break.

    Cons

Low pay with long working hours.
Can be sent to any centre on any given day if the area manager decided this applies to all floor staff.
The area manager take grievance if you do not meet centre targets which is set at 100k as this impacts on what sports car the company funds for them.
Tap in 5 minute late your wage is cut by the hour finish 2 hours late only paid for your contracted hours. No overtime pay unless the area manager authorities it in advance ( yes because I know in advance how many puncture repairs I will be undertaken).

    Advice to Management

should treat staff with the same value as your extortionate tyres.

    Pros

I cant think of 1 single good thing.

    Cons

Every single thing about them. Staff apreciation has nose dived. The company only wants money. You will be demotivated, demoralized and worked to death. Stressed untill your ill and at breaking point , you will recieve no support from area managers when u admit you are struggling. WATCHDOG PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANY AGAIN...working practices, the compants attitude and evil attitude towards staff is shocking and completely wrong in 2018. Shut them down!!!

    Advice to Management

Quit! Stop what your doing and get new jobs.

I have been working at Kwik-Fit full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    No pro’s to the job!

    Cons

Kwik Fit is a terrible company to work for!
    • No respect between staff
    • lucky if you get a 10 min break all day
    • long days with very short breaks and still have to work past closing time
    • No gloves provided and when we ask for the manager to order some we get grief and shouted at being told “ it will effect our bonus at the end of the month “
All centre manager’s and op’s managers care about is hitting budget for the day which is almost impossible as they are set so high. And if we are struggling to get budget they start to rip off customers by telling them that their car needs things that it doesn’t. I have seen so many loyal and innocent customers ripped off by managers because they have to hit budget. This is disgusting! •Would not recommend any of my family or friends or anybody that I know to come to Kwik Fit as they would most likely get ripped off and not get a proper job done of their car•

Overall the company is only interested in profits, regardless of impact on staff. Long hours, no time off and no bonus. In my centre they took the cost of gloves, blue roll tissue, sprays ( basically stuff that we need) off staff bonuses. Never enough people and very much a blame culture.

    Advice to Management

Stop caring so much about money and focus more on staff and customer happiness.
