Pros

It was fun for the first eight hours and they give you swag to distract from the low pay and horrible working conditions.

Cons

They will use you up, burn you out, exploit your personal network for lead generation, and dump you the instant it suits them. Expect to be online 24/7. Expect to be unable to take time off despite having "unlimited PTO". Expect to only be able to "clock out" between 10pm and 6am every day. Expect to receive strident phone calls at 7am for not being on Slack (when this expectation was never set). You will work every single weekend and if you dare to complain, you will be given negative performance reviews. You will often find yourself in a situation where satisfying one objective directly conflicts with another senior leader's goals, and if you dare to ask for help prioritizing these requests, leadership will turn on you and accuse you of being incompetent; belittling is common and personal insults are de rigeur. Expect to be exploited and gaslit and to have your every boundary overstepped. Seriously, if you have any other options, don't do it. Tldr; if you're considering applying to Kyte, run away.

Pros

50% of personal car rentals.

Cons

Where do I start? There is zero work life balance. Zero. They will take you to task for not responding to something at 10pm on a Saturday, or expect you to complete a mountainous (but not an emergency) project in a very short window of time with an arbitrary deadline, regardless of what hours you need to work to complete it. Have to stay up until 4am? They don't care, they just want it done. The benefits package is poor. "Unlimited PTO" is offered but in the employee handbook they "recommend 15 days" and make no mistake, they are acutely aware if you take more than 15 days. They offer only 8 weeks maternity leave which is abysmal in itself; but I also never saw a single pregnant person work there during my tenure. They cut significant corners and make knee jerk decisions with no thoughts of the long term implications and are absolutely shocked when those consequences rear their ugly heads. Then they'll look for a scapegoat to blame; anyone but the decision makers themselves. They'll fire people for "poor performance" but pay severance because if they call it a lay off - which is what it actually is - they'll have to tell their investors. What is poor performance? Who knows because they have no performance metrics. Stay far away from this place if you value your sanity.

Clouded Vision and Stunted Growth

Pros

-Some really amazing people do work here, that are fully bought into the future of the company -Solid social events that attempt to get people involved and stay connected outside of work. -High bar set across the org.

Cons

-Management is completely in their own bubble and seem to value results and the expense of people and talent. -Leadership is quick to lie to the masses in order to "calm the people" and control the narrative that suits them best. -Growth is slowly dramatically, causing tension to rise across all departments as the company attempts to raise more capital. -Pushing folks to produce even without the proper guidance or resources leading to rifts among teams. -Some folks in leadership are flat out rude and will act accordingly without zero remorse and repeatedly demean others at the company. -Company sets this extremely high bar, knows they pay below or average market value and expects folks to be "happy"
