Pros

Fellow coworkers at the same level are friendly because we all experience hardships together.

Cons

The entire hiring process was deceitful, especially regarding the commission structure, let me explain: -There's no commission unless you sell over $30,000. -A stupidly low commission of 1.5% even if you do sell over $30,000 of "LTS" products. You'd receive a mere $450 after selling $30,000, whereas most B2B commission rates range from 5-10%. Even my credit card's cash rewards exceed 1.5%. -Not everything qualifies as "LTS" products; items like cables, hard drives, power boxes, and non-LTS branded products fall under a separate category with only 1% commission. Plain corporate greed, they are making it so difficult just to qualify for that measly 1.5%. -Example, if you sell $25,000 worth of LTS cameras and $5,000 worth of cables, that totals $30,000, right? You should get 1.5%, right? Wrong! You'll receive 1% on the $5,000 ($50) and nothing on the $25,000 because it doesn't count as "LTS" products and doesn't meet the $30,000 minimum. It's a scam they cover up during the hiring process and don't tell you. -The next commission level requires selling over $50,000 of LTS products, granting a massive increase of 0.5% to a laughable 2%. Then it's $90,000 at 2.5%, followed by $180,000 at 3%, which is the maximum. -However, don't be fooled; most people won't reach the $90,000 level, and 2% is where the majority remain stuck. Meanwhile, elsewhere, commissions typically start at 5-10%. -The management structure is blatantly discriminatory, as promotions to management positions are virtually impossible if you're not Chinese. They conduct all their meetings in Chinese, excluding non-Chinese employees like me. -They target desperate international students seeking H1B sponsorship, using the sponsorship as leverage to indirectly threaten them with deportation if they fail to meet their sales quota. -You're granted a mere 6 days of PTO in your first year, which maxes out at 10 days in your third year, yet they make it seem generous. In most places, PTO starts at 10 days and increases over time. -The health and dental insurance provided is of the cheapest quality with high deductibles, and the "Free" part they advertise only applies if you're single. -Their forced 1-hour unpaid lunch basically extends your workday to 9 hours since you're still expected to handle any customer-related issues that came up during your lunch break. Yet your salary is only for 8 hours. -Low-level workers can't remote work despite that 100% of the work can be done remotely. Meanwhile, management allows themselves to remote work whenever they please.
