Cowardice, dysfunctional and apathetic management. Good-old-boy paradigm keeps those in the club protected and hooked up with perks such as attending conferences, retreats, choosing their desired work schedules and receiving quality technology. Not enough resources to effectively support students. Constant political conflict amongst employees, labor unions and board makes for a toxic work environment. Little to No opportunities for advancement, higher pay or professional development. Few are pulling the weight of many. No enforcement of policies.

Plans a lot for the future but never acts on the proper path to manage the college long term. Poor management and terrible money/bugetary processes hamper the ability of the college to get out of a slump in student enrollment. In the IT department there is no upwardly mobile path for any position and the loss of personel hampers getting any work done. Too much departmental politics hampers day to day processes .
