Pros

NONE AT ALL. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Cons

Clearly who ever wrote the original review is in management for Launch Local Inc. You are in a cult folks, a giant pyramid scheme where you work like a slave in sometimes unsafe areas by yourself while making little to no money. They hire everyone so management makes money off of you. You know the signs that say "No Soliciting"? Guess what because that means "Welcome in Spanish" according to this cult and that you are supposed to still harass people at work while selling some minor league baseball package or whatever coupon like book/package they throw at you. They make you feel special and try brainwashing you that you are special and could eventually own your own business. There is a reason why they had to change their name multiple times because of legal reason. Google "Steeltown Promotions" "Amplify Inc." and "South Side Entertainment" and see for yourself. If you are a recent college graduate, seek other employment. You didn't go to college for 4 years to make $20-80 a day while not getting reimbursed for the mileage from driving all over the Pittsburgh area. Save your self pride.

Pros

Great coworkers, I met some incredible people working there Good Clients Helps develop social and sales skills

Cons

They tell you that you're an entrepreneur, and that you get to pick your own hours and show up whenever you feel like it, but in reality you have to show up when your leader feels like it, even though they want you to believe coming in that its all up to you. You have to sell your product (discount sports tickets) in impoverished areas hours away from team arenas where consumers haven't even heard of the team. They force you to travel to their main branch in Youngstown every week because they cant keep enough employees working there to keep the office running. The "opportunity" to run your own branch is not what it seems. It's obvious after a few weeks that employee retention is so difficult opening a new branch is a wast of time and your money.

Pros

Training is helpful Everyone has a positive attitude

Cons

I was the first intern to start that spring and finished in July. I saw over two dozen people (interns and full time workers) quit because the job was awful. They tell you it's a marketing or public relations job but it's a sales job. You go door to door trying to sell Pirate tickets. Seems fun at first but it's very boring and becomes boring. Not always an easy sale which can make the days awful. You have to drive into Pittsburgh only to drive an hour away to walk around small towns. Would not recommend this job.
