Pros

Many opportunities to progress if you want to, or stay at the level you like. Training is encouraged as the business is growing considerably. Good employment terms and conditions to support the employee in time of need

Cons

The product range is so vast, it takes time to be proficient in all areas.

Pros

- Good team. - Good products. - Sizeable research and development spend by German/Austrian parent company. - Provide some quality selling tools.

Cons

- There is an ongoing divide between sales and service departments rather than people working together for a common goal.. - The selling tools provided to the sales team are too few. - The service side of the business is using outdated technology which causes issues with productivity and efficiency. It also has a minor negative effect on quality. - There is a complete lack of investment in people. The company seems to be unwilling to train a predominantly non-graduate workforce nor willing to employ apprentice trained employees or graduates. A lot of staff seemed disillusioned, disheartened and ultimately unhappy. - Recent modernisation of the firm is adding to the roles and responsibilities of current employees but not compensating them financially.

Unprofessional

Pros

Good pay, 8-5, job security, because they can't afford to fire anyone. It's better than being unemployed...

Cons

Management bullies employees publicly, to the point where turnover is out of control. HR is no help, and the company is completely inflexible in trying to make the job at least bearable. The office is horribly out of date, and the heat kicks on by midday, even when it is 80 degrees outside. Whenever people leave, their job duties are foisted on others with no pay increase or discussion about managing workloads. Communication only happens when there is a problem, and then management overreacts and acts unprofessionally.
