Pros

Really good environment among workers. Developers, team leaders and project managers are all at the same level sharing the same space which creates a really good team environment. If you work hard you will always feel you are part of the team. You can be involved in interesting projects using the most recent technologies. Always trying to improve by doing challenging projects which can have some risk associated.

Cons

Wrong administrative decisions are taken with no consideration for their employees and causing an huge impact in the development teams. Same mistakes kept happening during this period over and over again. Lack of organizations in some projects/teams.

Pros

The colleagues are mostly nice, some people are hard to work with but it is not the norm. The salary was good when I first started but then it took a very long time to get a noticeable raise in salary. You will only get good raises if you have a counter-offer from another place and they really need to keep you in the company. The working hours are mostly flexible, depending obviously on each project (some have daily scrum meetings early in the morning). There are some exciting projects, depending on the technologies you are interested in.

Cons

There is a lack of people for certain technological stacks, which leads to some people getting overworked/overburdenned with many projects. Career advancement is very difficult and is not clear enough. Even if you have great performance reviews you will mostly stay in the same position for a long time. I don't believe the company (the higher management at least) values their biggest asset, the people that are skilled and make most projects work.

Pros

Some great people to work with

Cons

Has been falling behind for some years with current work trends, compensation and culture. Covid made it all more apparent to all. Culture is nowadays non-existent. Compensation has been always subpar with market value, but recently even more with salaries rising everywhere but the gap still widens here. To worsen the compensation, people are working at home without any extra help for all the extra costs, with the company reaping all the benefits from the reduced office costs. Technical people only rise to a specific level, and are left there to dry. All the other management levels are only for the ones who are there until their retirement, and even then, they will rather bring someone from outside other than promote internally.
