Pros
I spent a lot of time with the team this week, and very excited about the work they are doing to improve access to tutoring for all students. They have this great energy, with supportive team members looking out for each other who are all about the mission of their company and what they can do to improve education. They all seem to be having fun, as they work tirelessly towards their goals. I've enjoyed spending time with all of them and sharing their vision, as they continue their growth story from start-up to stalwart.
Cons
It's still a start up with less than 100 people, so they are still working on some areas of infrastructure, but they are making great progress.

Pros
This is a company with a mission not just because you 'should' have a mission. The leadership team is made of passionate professionals who really care about education and about supporting student achievement. Many are former educators which makes it all the more authentic. The team in general is scrappy, energetic and truly a team who will be all hands on deck to solve any challenges that come up. Pros You get to be a part of something big. You really can contribute to the growth and development.
Cons
the challenges that come with being a high-growth company. fast-paced and ever-changing, which is a con for some but a pro for many!

There is a clear mission that really brings together every member of the company Experienced leaders mean that a lot of that early-stage rockiness has been easier than expected (or absent) There is a lot of collaboration and communication across teams and departments There is so much shared excitement for what we're delivering

Littera is buttoned up in ways you could only dream of, with access to industry-leading colleagues that have strategized a bright future and it's humbling to be part of their vision. My life has changed in so many great ways since joining, and I cannot encourage prospective applicants enough to see about a spot on the team.
