Pros

I loved working here. The environment is very welcoming, and the work being done is incredible for the community.

Cons

As with any non profit, the pay is on the lower end of the scale.

Pros

Good place to work if desperate.

Cons

Management behaves unethically and are not held accountable for their unethical actions. During my time at Little Dixie, I was experiencing pretty major health problems. In trying to get properly diagnosed I was misdiagnosed as having hepatitis A. My direct supervisor violated my privacy by reading a text on my private cell in reference to said misdiagnosis. I was sent home from work and my supervisors disinfected everything I came in contact with. I received a corrective action in which my supervisor's boss said I knowingly endangered the health of my coworkers and everyone I came in contact with and I was lectured for making them "jump through hoops". I was sick, misdiagnosed, my privacy was violated and i caused them an ordeal? Thats what they said. I talked to many health officials during the course of this ordeal (including the state official they contacted). Each of them said that I was treated wrongly, unfairly, and that management behaved very ignorantly regarding this situation. I was even encouraged by one doctor to bring forth a lawsuit. When i refused to sign my corrective action for not reporting my misdiagnosed hep A, I was told I have an attitude problem. I really hope that you, the reader, understand how incredibly ridiculous this is (you can't get hep A from using a computer, especially MISdiagnosed hep A). My uncle, Fred Tucker, is the founder of this agency that is now run by complete idiots. He would be very sad to know the values of this agency have sunk so low when it comes to how they single out and treat certain employees.
