      The setting and grounds are nice.

      Awful place to work. No respect, no support, no recognition. Badly managed. Extremely bad pay. No progression. After reading comments from 2016, they still havent learned how to retain staff. Over 16 staff members leaving in the short time I have been here. Their company values are no where near true. They pile on the work with no reward or pay increase. Asked to do mid management work on pennies. They do not take care of the animals as they are supposed to. Health and safety is shockingly bad. Its the Longleat way or no way, and you are shunned if you do not agree. They work in a little bubble that they feel they can get away with everything. Some awful working conditions and hours which are unhealthy for a lot of people. Extrememly stressful with no support or good management. I would not advise anyone to work here.

      Vile company to work for! So high up on respect, and values supposedly... never will I recommend Longleat to anyone. All they care about is making money. Clearly 12 members of staff leaving within 5 weeks still wasn't enough for HR to click on that there's clearly a issue! Having now to rely of agency or staff working like slaves! No respect, appreciation or trust for trust. Was like being in a school. So many rules and regulations. Health and safety crazy... but as soon as staff injure there selves coming into work they couldn't care less resulting in conflict with management and team members. No support atall! Such a nice hotel and grounds just a shame Longleat taken the hotel over. They have let it go downhill. No investment atall. Doing half a job. Replacing items with cheap knock offs, going in the way of a budget hotel. Never will I ever work for Longleat again. Stay clear!
