Pros

decent pay, decent location, first office (wework) was brilliant, second was awful and dirty and smelled and a longer commute. Loved being close to Borough Market and London Bridge however.

Cons

the worst management team I ever worked with, completely bullied employees, micromanaged, no HR at the time and when they finally got as HR person she lasted a week and there were so many issues and grievances she quit, CEO said the culture wasn't for her - don't really think its for anyone. Poor communication, too many egos and people who don't know what they are doing. Management asked me on the third day if I actually liked the job and told me it wasn't what they expected and that they wished they hadn't taken it. Furthermore, the job they recruited me for was nothing like what was promoted to me. They found my CV online and headhunted me for Ecommerce Manager but ended up being more of an Account Manager role.

Pros

- Great opportunity to work with clients and colleagues around the world - Loylogic teams are based in India, Switzerland, UK, US, and Latvia. - Strong team environment, with lots of proactive collaboration across teams and locations, particularly as deadlines approach. - Excellent way to gain insights and experience into both the loyalty and ecommerce industries. - Company is an interesting mix of big and small, currently well beyond the start-up phase but not yet fully mature in terms of processes - so the opportunity exists to contribute to that process. - Highly motivated and inspiring CEO who pushes everyone forward, and is very focused on improving company culture and employee engagement with investment in a range of initiatives.

Cons

- Lack of process maturity in some areas causes pain and leads to stress and extra working hours when it could perhaps be avoided with better planning. This is slowly changing. - The lack of focus on company culture in previous years will take some time to unwind, with focus still needed on career management and growth opportunities - but this is openly acknowledged and has started to be addressed in the last 12 months.

Pros

Agile company meaning decisions don't get tied up in red tape. Senior leadership are always happy to hear new ideas and challenging the status quo is encouraged. Despite global workforce, culture is nurtured and collaboration and innovation thrives.

Cons

Decision making isn't embraced at all levels which can lead to bottlenecks.
