It is very difficult to succeed here if you are in sales. Many have turned over in sales roles here and they do not last much past 2 years. There is no service they offer or any kind of differentiators that separates them from the thousands of other brokers in the country. Leadership thinks that they operate better than they really do. Each office operates on their own island, not much interaction and help is given between them nor do they care about the greater good of the company. Negotiate for the highest base salary possibly knowing that you will likely never see a commission check or bonus. Leadership's 5 year goals are tone deaf based on how they operate their business, They do not know how to grow or scale the business. If you are lucky enough to get your book of business going the goalposts will move to avoid paying commissions and accounts get stripped. The tail wags the dog at corporate so be sure to get in their good graces if you are at a remote office or the rumor mill will kick in and you will get managed out the door. Those at HQ that wear out the rug between their desks and leadership's offices will get the first and last word in, always.
