Pros

Great Management: my manager puts work into my career, provides constant communication and open dialogue, and is always open and easy to speak with. Great Office Life: they provide monthly food trucks, very open about how the company is doing, and other great perks at the offic

Cons

Remote work: While we are hybrid M-W in office and Th-Friday remote, it does feel like the company wants you in the office, and extra or additional remote work is frowned upon.

Thanks so much for writing this review and I'm really happy to her that your manager is working with you to help your growth! We value everyone who works here and try to do little things that make the day interesting from time to time. True that we want people to have face time in the office while allowing flexibility to WFH too. We know and studies show that face time is key to developing high quality interaction and collaboration and fostering a collegial atmosphere! Best of both worlds!

Pros

M3 has a family-like atmosphere; perfect work-life balance with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home; management is approachable, respectful, and doesn't "micro-manage"; the overall environment is very friendly and supportive. M3 offers very generous benefits, including fully paid health insurance, 100% 401K matching at 6%, fully vested as soon as you're eligible to participate, and generous PTO; they also offer creative "unconventional" benefits such as monthly breakfasts, monthly food trucks (all fully paid for by the company), an annual allowance to buy company logo'd Lands' End clothing, a generous work-from-home allowance to buy what you need to set up your home office (given one time, after 90 days of employment), family picnics, holiday meals/celebrations, a large gym with showers, etc, and a "fluid" work environment where you're free to take your laptop and plop down on a couch or in a quiet corner if you get tired of being at your desk.

Cons

Training is VERY fast and you have to kind of learn on your own/learn as you go after the initial training period. The office is really large and the departments are very spread out. It's hard to get to know anyone outside your immediate area. I see people everyday that I've never seen before, even though they've likely worked here for years. I know very few people's names, positions, etc. However, we're free to move around the office and get to know people if/when we want to, so the opportunity is there, it's just a bit overwhelming.

Thanks so much for reviewing us and giving some candid comments! We do have the buddy program to try to help meet people and make that initial "get to know you part" easier. Our engagement ambassador will also be happy to help anyone make new friends by either doing introductions, arranging small get togethers with 3 or 4 people and so on. I've even been known to suggest some people to connect with and make introductions for those who might be more introverted or hesitant. Just ask!

Pros

Great Benefits, high trust and low micromanagement. Growing steadily and profitable. Recent changes have vastly improved work environment and management open door is actually open. Encouraged to own problems and work across barriers to serve customers. Room to improve products and give upward feedback. Hiring.

Cons

Management communication and hostile exec made poor project outsourcing decisions, but that has since been remedied. Typical challenges remain repairing those products.

Pros

Good insurance, WFH when needed.

Cons

No money is spent on modern technology, everything is outdated, vulnerable to attacks, systems in production still running Window 2003 and 2008.

Having won top workplaces four years in a row through the Atlanta Journal Constitution which is voted upon by employees through anonymous survey I am quite surprised by this review. Of course it’s disappointing to read a review such as this one. We spend significant dollars on infrastructure and improvements every year and it’s a shame that this person is either unaware or unwilling to admit that is the case. We’re always interested in talking to people who have got a complaint and so I invite the writer of the review to reach out to me directly to discuss these opinions. For the reader, rest assured this is not an accurate picture of what M3 does, has done and will do to keep pace with constantly changing technology. Thank you for acknowledging our strong benefits program and again, I invite you to reach out to me directly to discuss your thoughts.

Pros

On a lower level, people are great to work with. Great Health Benefits.

Cons

Upper management tends to be near sighted and tunnel visioned. Compensation is not competitive, as they push "we are opposite direction from Atlanta." Too many responsibilities on one person, leads to bottle necking and added pressure. Very bad work/life balance, as some testing/deployments can go past midnight.

We appreciate your comments and the good thing is HR's door is open and I'll listen and act if you want to talk specifics. Remember we conduct an annual survey through which we make positive change. To anyone who reads this - we strongly encourage communication and want our team members to reach out to someone in leadership if they have concerns.

Pros

M3 is invested in your professional growth. Management will happily connect you with learning resources/training to further your skill growth as well as soft skill growth. The company's leadership truly cares for its employees by doing numerous positive things for them as well as offering a "suggestion box" type platform that actually leads to more positive changes! Food trucks, gift boxes, events, extra holidays, etc. As someone who lives with medically high risk people, it was also important to me to work for an employer that takes proper precautions in COVID safety protocols, and M3 is among the best I've seen. They have a hybrid schedule (3 onsite 2 remote) for the majority of the office and don't hesitate to shift to fully remote as needed (and encourage sick employees to stay home!). In terms of the actual workflow the software teams operate with a fairly standard agile process and they work pretty efficiently with it. You get a reasonable workload that is enough to challenge you but not to overwork you to the point that your quality suffers.

Cons

No cons come to mind
