Thanks for sharing your thoughts with M3. While we acknowledge the importance of competitive pay, we also believe there is significant value in fostering a positive workplace culture. The events, including food trucks, are designed to bring our teams together and build relationships. We believe these shared experiences contribute immensely to the overall well-being and collaboration between all employees. Bring Your Dog to Work Days, as well as many other events, are low-to-no cost, and the benefits far surpass not having the events. In considering budget distribution, we want to emphasize that the allocated amount per employee would be very insignificant. The rich experiences and relationships formed through our events greatly outweigh the per employee monetary value. We see the value of the hybrid schedule arrangement and are committed to supporting a balanced work-life experience. Events are always held on in-office days to bring you fun and enrichment during your work days. Participation is always optional. However, we hope that you enjoy the positive atmosphere our events bring, like many of our employees currently do. If you have further comments and concerns, we invite you to speak directly to our Chief HR Officer or Employee Engagement Ambassador. Thank you!

Pros

Benefits are some of the best out there. Company pays a significant portion of benefits especially health. there is also a pretty good profit sharing plan. You can learn a lot here. Coworkers for the most part were friendly. The best thing about this place however, was leaving.

Cons

Where do I start? When I was there, 2011-2013, the pay was low, the pressure was extremely high. You feel like your left arm can't talk to your right arm. Security is a high priority here which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but couple that with the feeling like you can be let go just for a simple mistake or two, and it is like walking on EGGSHELLS! People are in fear of their jobs here! You are expected to work your tail off and get very little thanks for it. I once worked a 25 hr shift with just a mere thank you from the president. However like I said if you screw up expect to get YELLED AT! - or WORSE YET - FIRED! Also beware of things happening behind your back here. If they don't like you it might be for something you don't know about. If you don't meet upper managements arbitrary expectations, you are OUT! Nevermind any personal hardships you might be facing. Very Militaristic style of management..If they say jump you better say how high and for how long!

I'm wondering if this employee went to HR or to the President if their direct supervisor or executive in charge wasn't responsive to his or her specific situation. This isn't the culture the company wants to create and some changes have been made fairly recently that have probably taken care of this type of experience. We have very low turnover historically and employees need to remember that sometimes reasons for termination are private - you can't always know the reasons someone is let go and you don't know the history.

Thank you for this review. I’m glad you enjoy working with your peers and that you have experienced competitive pay. Our goal is to meet the market with pay ranges but also offer some added extras like a great culture and great people to work with. We are located just off 85 and Sugarloaf Parkway so we’re very easy to get to and people can avoid downtown traffic if this location works for them! Thank you for taking time to write this review !

Thank you for taking the time to offer this review and I'm glad you enjoyed it here. As far as the pay goes, we are constantly reviewing our salaries in comparison to market and we have plans in place to adjust if needed both for new hires and existing team members. We also offer profit sharing and stock to employees based on tenure which further increases the positives!

Thanks for sharing your experience with M3. We're pleased to hear that you acknowledge the positive aspects such as our office environment, growth opportunities, and the quality of our benefits, including health insurance, PTO, and 401K. Regarding your concerns, we want to highlight that your department has made significant strides in recent years to enhance flexibility, with more remote work opportunities than the average employee. Additionally, the implementation of core hours aims to provide a framework that allows our employees to complete their work when it suits them best. If you have further concerns or suggestions, we encourage you to speak directly with your supervisor, your skip-level manager or the EVP of Professional Services. All are open to discussing any issues and working together to find solutions.

Pros

It's a great place to work. You can tell that the company wants to have and maintain a good company culture. They celebrate the big moments in your life with you. Frequently catered lunches or office lunch breaks together at a local restaurant. Very good culture. Great work/life balance

Cons

The pay is not competitive. Seems like if they like you then they will pay you what you'd like to make; if not, then take what they offer or leave. Also, they seem to be slow to replace staff that leaves. So, you're expected to pick up the slack.

Thanks for recognizing our efforts to create and maintain a great culture. We do believe that work life balance and culture are critical differentiators for us and appreciate it when former employees value it. We do have defined salary ranges that are competitive with market and we pay by the position and skill set required, later giving increases based on performance. I'm sure you can always find a company to pay more - that's the reality and we strive to strike a balance. Wishing you the best of luck in your career!

Pros

M3 is fanatical about customer satisfaction. If you are a hotelier looking for industry specific technology, designed and developed by hoteliers for hoteliers, then M3 is your place. If you are in IT, development or sales; especially with a hospitality background, I would encourage you to set an alert for M3 Accounting and find a way to start a career here. Compensation is competitive, benefits are outstanding and the leadership empowers and encourages success.

Cons

There are no downsides to M3. It truly is one of those great, American companies where a full day's work is rewarded with good pay and great benefits.
