My initial interview was only ten minutes long with my interviewer talking most of the conversation. So the interviewer was trying more to convince me of the validity of the company rather than screening for a great candidate for hire. They are looking to hire young and dumb, or anyone desperate enough to sell door to door without any other benefits other than pay.
ESCO company teaches you to LIE to customers to get sales. They constantly pump employees heads with the promise of big cash quick when they're only really motivating you because team leaders and mangers get up to $7 for each sale you make while they are only required to get 8 sales a week in comparison to a field rep's 15/20 quota. (Reminiscent of a pyramid scheme)
They constantly call you to work on weekends even when the office is closed and they take you to low income areas throughout the city to prey on frugal residents.
My pay was consistently incorrect and I even had a payroll check BOUNCE! It was only corrected after getting into contact with the CEO because the one and only HR employee was 'out sick'. What company do you know that only has ONE HR REP?!
They have a high turnover rate not only because cold calling is hard but because the pay is always a problem.
Consistently an issue with pay for multiple employees. Long hours 10:30am-8pm+, inconsistent pay, no vacation time, no healthcare
