I worked at MacaMedia full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

absolutely none you will be completely used and manipulated

    Cons

Long hours (10-7) walking around dodgey areas begging people to sign up to a charity
Condescending team members who appear nice but are clearly just manipulating you
    100% COMISSION
They never tell you it’s a sales job you just have to figure it out
    Very cult like
You should hear how they spoke about customers
You’re ‘Uncapped earning potential’ is a lie you’ll be lucky to make 2 sales a day
Spend more money on travel and lunch
They prey on anyone weak or stupid enough to give them the time of day (both customer and employee)
    No benefit at all

    Advice to Management

Just be up front about this job. It’ll leave you with more people who want to do this job

I worked at MacaMedia full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If it was sunny at least you would get a tan. As you're outside door to door all day(1st day for free)

    Cons

Where do I start? If they were honest and said this is not a graduate roll. This is a sales role. 100% commission based. Then i wouldn't be leaving such a bad review... but to con graduates into working door to door (In rough areas) then I have to spill the beans on This absolute SCAM

    Advice to Management

Be honest about what you do... you will attract the right people and you can sleep better at night knowing your whole life isn't to shift others in order to make a profit.

    Pros

This place was great fun for summer holidays before I had to go back to uni. Everyone was super nice and although I've never done anything similar before but everyone was so helpful and supportive. We also went out once a week for a crew night and it was great fun, lots of memories! I also managed to save decent money for uni, so all in all great experience I'll definitely join again next summer !

    Cons

It was pretty full on so if I wasn't going back to uni it would require some commitment to the job but if you're looking for progression in a company it's like that everywhere I suppose

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you're doing! It's fun
