Pros

Good benefits: medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, holidays & PTO (Pd Time Off) Good financial compensation: decent salaries, year end & profit sharing bonus, matching 401K.

Cons

Too much nepotism. No opportunity for growth unless you're related to someone in managment. Some managers are nasty, arrogant mlcro managing control freaks who antagonize their staff & make their lives miserable. No job security. Company has been sold 3 times so far. Each new owner has downsized the Co & covertly engaged in age discrimination. Employees 55 & over have been compelled to take early retirement or be laid off. Except for upper management Execs, almost everyone in the company is 40 or under. If you're over 40 don't expect to get hired. Lastly, since the company is owned by another company, employees are treated more like a number than a person. This was not the case when it was a family owned business, owned by the Maher family. Now only the company name is unchanged, everything else has become that of a cold impersonal corporation where there is no sense of togetherness or humanity.

Pros

Within the industry you're making that Maher Money... lots of money to be made

Cons

The cost of making that money may not be worth the mental, physical and emotional cost of never being home....

Pros

Great benefits and 401k/alternative pension

Cons

Forget about having a social life. Supervisors are expected to constantly uproot their lives and must be available 7 days a week. You work 10 hours a day and get looked down upon when you leave on time, they expect you to stay longer. The pay scale is horrendous and takes forever to even be considered for an management position, where you'll make decent money at best. There is a huge gap between upper management and the younger generation. Extremely far behind on the technology scale. Upper Management is also EXTREMELY racist which makes them very hard to work for. They press their political opinions on anyone who listen and you get blacklisted for speaking your mind about your own. Extremely narrow minded management staff that refuse to grow with the times. Not a good place to work if you have an open mind, they make you conform.
