Pros

In Thousand Oaks - nice location and you can quit anytime you like.

Cons

Steve is the most Arrogant people I have ever met.... and he's NOT cute. He's rude and needs to check himself. What goes around comes around. He loves to put other Recruiting firms down also... so tacky.

Pros

Worked with some decent people and had fun working wth some of the co-workers. If you want to work it out in this toxic environment, there is a possibility to make a 6 figure income.

Cons

I am an executive with many years of successful management experience that also ran a couple multi-million dollar businesses. Unfortunately, in 2010, the stagnant economy finally caught up to me and I was laid off. After 8 months or so, I found this "opportunity" and jumped on it. I met with the management and was interviewed and hired immediately. After about a week of working at MRSI, the CEO approached me and advised me that I should keep applying for unemployment benefits while working there. He said it was more beneficial for me and the company. I immediately understood what he was getting at. It was cheaper of him so that he would not have to pay me my draw of $2,000 per month or have to deal with employee taxes. About 2 days later I sought other employment opportunities. To my luck I found another opportunity, but it was not available for a couple months. So, I stuck it out and waited until I could jump ship. In the mean time, I closed a couple of deals and tried to make the best of it. During that time, I witnessed some of the worse leadership that I have ever seen. On a few occasions the CEO would come in on our Friday meetings and remind us that he could "let us go" at any time and that we were "lucky to be working at MRSI" as he had it much worse while working for DNA search. He sounded like a fool. I have been a part of some very successful teams in the past and this type of stupidity did not exist nor was it tolerated. For a while they also had employees coming in on Saturdays at 7:00 am for "training". There was never training, it was their attempt to get us to make more calls and work on the weekend. Keep in mind, they were not paying me a dime. I literally did it once and refused to do it again. I was buying time until my new job opportunity at a different company would open up. Also, one of the managers pulled me in for some "mentorship" training. During one of these sessions and while in an earshot of the rest of the company, he said, "If I made what some of these pukes made, I would be sick". More great leadership... These folks have little integrity. It would not take much for me to call the labor board on these clowns and blow the whistle on them as far as compensation is concerned. I know of at least 3 other employees that I have kept in touch with that also experienced what I did. Stay away from these clowns.

Pros

There is about a 3-4 day training period, but if you are a warm body, anyone can make a 120 calls a day. Nice location.

Cons

You call all over the US. Rapport is by phone only- you never meet clients face to face. You are paid a draw. Commissions are always split in the first few months. You are expected to make about 500-600 calls a week, sitting at a cubicle.
