My experience in the Austin Office was one of the most baffling times of my life. I had been jokingly fired during a serious career review meeting, laughed at when asking for a raise for getting my PE license, had our office leader read the bible during a full-office meeting he was leading, was being compensated less than a coworker who had an identical resume to mine but was male. I could not get out of this environment quick enough - absolutely no part of me wanted to come into work everyday. I felt constantly belittled, and upper management was silent on all of the situations after I brought it to the attention of HR. I quickly found another job and the environment is night and day - people are collaborative, encouraging, open, and the team is diverse. The environment at Manhard is openly aggressive and argumentative. I have seen patterns at Manhard of quickly promoting white males above others, grouping women into teams away from the men, and a huge lack of racial diversity; these statements go for both the Dallas and the Austin office. Also if you leave a negative review you'll likely be personally contacted to take it down.
