      Fast growing company causing fast/drastic changes on the fly. A lot of back stabbing at the branches.

      Pros

      Solid employment. Training available if your afforded the time to do it. Advancement possible if you kiss butt. The owner and family are committed to providing a great and safe working envioroment and are committed in continuos growth. I heard from several employees that the company did not lay anybody off when the economy took a turn for the worse several years back even though sales dropped significantly.

      Cons

      Can get hectic at times. Middle management has no backbone and has created lots of back stabbing in the process. Branch managers appear stressed /overburdened with lack of help from the overseeing manager. A lot of responsibility for the pay.

      Pros

      There aren’t many pros to working at Mars.

      Cons

      They will just transfer you branch to branch no matter your opinion on it. They do whatever they please with your job and responsibilities. You will never receive a promotion or a raise. The upper management want all the money to themselves and want employees to do all the work. They make you work way more than 4 hours a week and also mandate you work a Saturday a month no if’s and or buts to it.

      Pros

      Great family to work for. Lots of company outings for employee morale. Communication company wide is flawless.

      Cons

      I worked there 10 years and was unable to get ahead. No clear cut path to advance, felt I was spinning my wheels.
