Pros
Not many positives in my experience. If you're looking to gain experience, it really depends on the position you're in, as it can make or break your time here. My advice is to be clear about what you're looking for and set boundaries, since upper management may sometimes expect more responsibilities than originally discussed
Cons
If you don't speak the same language as them, it will be hard to be on the same page with them if you have no prior knowledge on the industry. Management needs to be better and need to be organize since the industry has become more competitive, and need to know that everyone has specialist it in it function and not crossover to other position which could cause delay
