      Lack of communication

      The people are very nice.

      Cons

      I was a prospective employee and the recruiter and management team were not communicative at all. I had to follow up many times to see the status of the contract and my possibility of employment. I was jerked around for months. They told me they would try to find me another position within the company if I was rejected by the client and they did nothing of the sort. They said that I was free to apply for something else. That is not what they said they would do. Left a very bad taste in my mouth.

      Cool culture but not necessarily stable for consultants

      Cons

      Not stable, they will lay you off quickly and they don't provide a bench for consultants. Think twice before leaving another job to join this company

      At MetaPhase our aim is always to be a place to build a career (not just support a project). This is extremely important to us. Over the past year, 4 contracts have come to a close involving 10 of our staff. Of those 10 staff, 8 were placed on other projects and 2 are no longer with the company for a variety of reasons. In those rare situations where circumstances were such that we could not, for various reasons, move someone from one project to another - our commitment is to provide as much advance notice and transparency as possible. For example, in a recent contract that came to a close, we were able to provide the impacted staff member with 2 months of advanced notice to ensure maximum time for planning as we continued to work internally. Thank you again for your feedback. We take it very seriously and strive to continuously improve.

      Avoid this company at all costs

      Pros

      This is the place for you if you’re willing to invest years of your career working at a company just to be ruthlessly laid-off “effective immediately” with no severance and have HR look you in the eyes and tell you that “we don’t have space for your skillset” regardless of how much work you’ve put in and your clients relations that you’ve spent years building.

      Cons

      They will use every excuse to not give you more compensation. This company grew way too quickly and could not handle the growth and I am pretty sure that it will go back to being a 20 person company by the end of next year.
