Pros

Feel of a startup environment with the benefits of a well established company. Internationally oriented, which you see both in customers and team members. Wide variety of products in many different markets. Highly educated smart people, working on challenging problems. Opportunity to work with cutting edge cloud technologies. Very competitive compensation and great benefits. Positive outlook

Cons

A fair amount of legacy systems and software. There are on call duties in some teams. Company is growing pretty quickly, which results in a very dynamic environment that isn't for everybody. Very limited company performance bonus programs. (And the company is in the process of phasing these out entirely)

Great global (weathertech) startup environment in Utrecht

Even though this organisation exists already for some years, there is a new global extension which is being built now. This extension of the organisation resides in the very central Utrecht office location. With a truly international startup environment vibe. Highly inspirational team members and c-level who are open to good ideas. Can't recommend more.

- Incredible wealth of meteorological knowledge - Interesting technology - Great brand recognition - Interesting problems to solve, not your typical software shop. Loads of opportunity to learn about weather from knowledgable experts - Top management is extremely experienced and committed to the company mission

Cons

- MeteoGroup is going through a transformation, so things can seem hectic - Fair amount of legacy applications which need to be modernized/migrationed
