Pros

My coworkers and management are talented and friendly, and the executive team has a strong vision for the future. Metropolis is at a sweet spot where the code/tech is well established, but also light on tech debt. This makes for quick feature iteration and ability to still shape the codebase and have a big impact.

Cons

Feels like a tech company, but it might be a parking company.

Fast growing, great benefits, top of class technology.

Cons

People department has no clue what they are doing and genuinely seem to not care. Two years in a row of record growth and profit yet they are not able to complete reviews on time and have bypassed incentives....whats worse is they refuse to communicate anything, Company has some pretty cool tech and growth but if you value how you will be treated i reccomend running away.

Metropolis is an oversized parking company that pretends it’s an AI startup. Their ‘AI’ technology is barely better than license plate recognition which has been around for 50 years. The hapless management spends an insane amount on useless McKinsey consultants to stroke their ego and justify their poor decisions. They recently acquired an AI facial recognition company that had to rebrand to Oosto because of the negative press it received for the use of its technology by the IDF to surveil Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
