Pros

Mexcor provides a fast-paced environment with significant exposure to supply chain and distribution operations. Leadership is given real ownership over inventory management, supplier coordination, and day-to-day logistics, which allows for meaningful impact on business outcomes. The organization offers opportunities to work cross-functionally and develop problem-solving skills in a dynamic setting. Team members are generally committed and adaptable, which helps maintain continuity in a high-demand environment.

Cons

As with many growing distribution organizations, processes can still be evolving, which may lead to inefficiencies or inconsistencies across operations. Communication and standardization between departments could be improved to enhance alignment and execution. At times, resource constraints can place additional pressure on teams to meet performance expectations.

Pros

Started off great. Had a fantastic regional and a great state manager. It was a very supportive and positive environment. There are still some great people there, especially in the Fine Wine division. But I believe those days are over.

Cons

Oh, where do I start. I guess it started when the state manager quit and went to work for a vendor. Right after that my regional left. Then my territory was split in half, taking half of my paycheck with it. Next they demoted the new state manager and replaced him with an outside hire that was completely incompetent. I am trying my best to withhold names. It got to the point where I was only making about 20% of what I did my first year. Just a horrible situation. They could never keep an adequate stock of core products which kills your paycheck and wrecks your number. They do not have any major brands like SG or RNDC represent. No merchandisers outside of one in DFW and a few in Houston. Reps have to run the hotshots since they are too cheap to hire hotshot drivers. Opps is horrible. A customer missing most of their order was a regular occurrence.
