Pros
Your "middle" level coworkers and team members
Cons
Everything besides the free booze. And trust me, even that isn't worth it. For the record, all the Glassdoor reviews you see for this company were forced out of employees by countless emails reciting the same "give a great review or head into HR to air your grievances in a "confidential" setting" message. This actually means that HR will pretend to agree with you, tell you they are 100% in agreement and then immediately rush off to the CEO, President and all the Managers to mock and regurgitate everything you've just told her. You then become ostracized and criticized as a "disgruntled employee", all because you did what you were asked to do. Once this process begins, there are secret meetings behind your back (I've been IN them for other employees and there were ones for me as well) to see if they can find anything you've done wrong in order to fire you before you quit. This doesn't work for most because we do our jobs, but you get the idea of culture. Backstabbing culture like I've never seen, and I've seen a lot. This place is hell- they treat their creative teams like second rate citizens, no one is allowed to speak in meetings besides the designated "mouthpieces" of each department, who will take every opportunity to put down some innocent, "low level" employee for even suggesting something, only to take credit for magically coming up with the same idea during the next meeting. Someone there once had a great term for it- the sorority. If you weren't in the crowd who gossips, complains and likes to take credit for everyone else's ideas, you're absolutely no one. Oh, and the pay is atrocious. Do yourself a favor and see what the other comparable agencies in the area are paying- it's way higher than here.
