Pros

Everything. Everyone is super nice and welcoming (especially the CEO, Randy) and there is a perfect balance of hard work and fun! I wouldn't leave this company if someone BEGGED me too!

Cons

Absolutely nothing is wrong here! It's such a perfect place to work and I couldn't ask for anything better.

Pros

The hours are very flexible. People really care about what they do here. No manager staring at every single thing that I do.

Cons

Very demanding managers and very cut throat. Doesn't listen to its employees at all. Vacation benefits are a joke. Commission pay only and overtime pay reduces your hourly wage the more you work. Here's how it works. if your commission check is $1000 and you work 80 hours for two weeks your hourly wage is $12.50. If you worked 100 hours and got the same commission check of $1000 your new hourly wage is $10 and overtime is only half of the new lower hourly. So overtime pay would be 20 hours x $5 = $100. Infuriating.....Also Vacation pay is limited to 10 days a year and never increases for the people who maintain and service the machines. For everyone working in an office building vacation days increase 5 days per year up to something like 60 days/year. even more infuriating.........

Toxic Environment

Pros

Absolutely none! I cannot think of one positive thing, and I wouldn't work here again if they begged me to.

Cons

This place is toxic! The employees think it's like high school all over again and if you aren't accepted as one of the "cool kids", you are left out in the cold. People pretend to be nice to you to your face and then talk about you behind your back. The environment will eat away at your soul...if you have one.

We are really sorry that you had such a negative experience at minuteKEY. We value and consider all feedback and are committed to continual improvement. I will try to address some of your concerns and hope that you will reach out with any additional questions. I'm especially sorry that you believe we have too many "parties". We prefer to call them quarterly team building events and we put a lot of thought and effort into making them fun and productive. We will definitely bring this up during our next employee update meeting and evaluate the benefits/disadvantages of these events. We believe all of our employees are pretty "cool kids"! They are hardworking, intelligent and devoted to their careers. Most of our corporate employees have been with us for several years and have become very close in the process. I'm sorry that you felt left out, but we will address your concern at our next company meeting. We want everyone to feel like they are part of the team. As a part-time employee you may not have realized that our management staff spends much of their time traveling and attending many weekend, early morning and late afternoon meetings. Your perception may have been skewed by their hectic schedules. They have worked hard and done an excellent job of meeting budget, exceeding revenue, and cutting costs in all areas. Our bonus program is based on overall company performance as well as individual performance. Managers are treated the same as employees in the bonus review process. When any employee meets their goals they are compensated for their efforts. Thanks again for your input. I wish you the best of luck in your new position and hope you find a company that has the environment you are looking for in a company.
