Pros

Beautiful and unique products, with so much potential.

Cons

The female ceo of the company is rude and petty. I do not know if she has/had a relationship with the male ceo but the energy is weird. If you are prettier than her she’ll chastise you and try to make it work related - it’s weird.

Pros

People are nice. Can be good work/life balance as you're not expected to put in overtime.

Cons

Was there for years without a single raise, not even for cost of living. Anytime money was spoken about I was told the company was downbad in sales and that's why there aren't raises. If that isn't some excuse to not pay people, then this company is clearly a sinking ship. Do not work here unless you're desperate for work. Experienced emotional abuse from the top as well. This place is toxic and you'll end up regretting being here.

Pros

Beautiful and highly desirable products.

Cons

I was asked to give my current job less than two weeks notice when joining Modular Arts. My manager at the time shared one of the most solid pieces of advice I’ve ever received. “If a company has asked you to give less than two weeks’ notice, that company probably won’t be a good place to work.” I wish I would have listened. When I applied for a role at modularArts there was no reviews for the office available and it is my intention to ‘pay it forward’ to help others learn from my experience. The following review is my opinion of the company culture I experienced at modularArts. In general, I felt worthless and disrespected the entire time I worked there. Management was quick to criticize and slow to offer help or guidance. I felt constantly watched as the CEO monitored all of my outgoing emails. I witnessed female employees being fired while on vacation. I witnessed good (female) employees being labeled as having an “attitude” when they attempted to self advocate. The highest paid positions at this company are held exclusively by white men. There is a pervasive culture of fear. For multiple years I received no annual performance reviews and had no annual pay increases. Quitting modularArts was the best decision I could have made and I regret the years I didn’t believe in myself and settled for this dismal work environment.
