I worked at Momenta full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

not working for them ever again

    Cons

If you have any problems, they will immediately try to blame you for them. If you then persist after the attempts to lie to you and fob you off, they will act like small children.

    Advice to Management

Shut the place down, you neither care about contractors, nor have a clue about HR. Try employing some responsible adults in your office, and I include directors.

    Pros

Good starting salary for a graduate

    Cons

Very target driven with unrealistic targets set. No benefits I can really think of

    Advice to Management

Maybe engage with your employees and come up with better targets/ideals

    Pros

None really, really wish I had more to say about the unhelpful staff,

    Cons

You'd leave umpteen messages and would have to complain before anyone gives you a call back, AVOID

    Advice to Management

Get better staff, all are really unhelpful

I worked at Momenta full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Met friendly people in the job
Decent salary for first job as graduate (£23k)
Canteen had free coffee drinks upstairs

    Cons

    • Very stressful workplace
    • Target driven, if you don't hit targets, you ain't going home
    • Training not adequate given the nature of the work
    • Work is repetitive, if you dislike numbers or excel, this job will suck the life out of you
    • Bad company culture, thank god it's Friday mentality, high turnover

    Advice to Management

Don't put so much pressure on staff to hit targets, quality is better than quantity

I worked at Momenta full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Contractors were paid pretty well, especially those on the night shift (which doesn't exist anymore). Contractors were paid 3x the amount graduates were paid although they did exactly the same thing. However, that's the nature of the job, those with experience get more as they are proven. The job itself was repetitive and very very target driven.

The main pro was the atmosphere taught me a lot about the world of work. It was harsh. It can be very hostile if you don't network, yet if you network, you gain a lot of knowledge about where to head towards from the contractors you work with (some of them have years of experience jumping between contracts). Another thing it taught me was you need to be proactive, stand your ground, not everyone is truthful, including the management.

    Cons

I agree with many other reviews that they treated us like robots, there was no employee satisfaction as there were no team bonding events, update meetings, surveys etc... It was only focused on meeting targets. It's a harsh atmosphere, but 23k for a first graduate job was reasonable (was more for me on nightshift).

    Advice to Management

Try to keep the employee more engaged and updated so they feel part of your company rather than just a number.
