Pros

An exciting work place with lots of travel opportunities and plenty to get involved with. It's great how much they value foreign languages and print journalism. There is also scope for getting involved with radio/books as well which is useful for getting plenty of experience in the media.

Cons

Quite a long working day

Pros

The editorial team is encouraged to look for untold and exciting stories, and to uncover unexpected perspectives, with support from the senior leadership team to do so, which feels like a rarity in the modern media landscape. There's a great chance to travel while telling high-quality and premium stories across print and radio, as a result.

Cons

It can be an intense place to work with so many products to make across print, digital, commercial, radio, and events – sometimes it feels like there's not enough time to reasonably get everything done.

Pros

It’s an exciting place to work with interesting projects across editorial and commercial. The whole team are incredibly talented and the senior team are very supportive and approachable. As a staff member you’re made to feel valued and welcome. The office is beautiful, with free breakfast every morning and a lunch every month. There are great opportunities for employees across the whole brand.

Cons

There is no flexible working hours / work from home culture (but the office is a nice place and being around colleagues is great for collaboration). Sometime there is a rush to meet deadlines with longer hours, the quality of work is always exceptional though.
