Pros

nothing, its miserable save yourself the bother

Cons

Working at this bank was one of the most demoralizing experiences of my career. Management is shockingly negligent when it comes to employee welfare. There is little to no support for staff, and HR is either completely absent or complicit in protecting toxic leadership. Basic processes are chaotic, accountability is non-existent, and the workplace culture thrives on fear rather than collaboration. Incompetence at the senior level trickles down, and rather than correcting mistakes or improving systems, management prefers to scapegoat frontline staff. High turnover is brushed off, and any feedback is met with defensiveness or outright hostility. It’s clear employee well-being is not even a consideration.

Pros

Low turnover of staff, plenty of social opportunities and good support for staff when personal needs arise. They do want to be a great employer and do try

Cons

Low levels of progression - you're likely to end up years later doing the role you started as. A lot of talk about culture but often left in the drive to deliver to deadlines.
