Pros
True flexibility & autonomy: it’s fully remote, and the focus is entirely on output, not clock-watching. My manager doesn't micromanage at all; instead, the management focus on setting us up for success, discussing things that matter patiently, and keeping the vibe light with a great sense of humor. They provide feedbacks about the quality of work you provide and your character.
Psychological safety: my team operates in a genuinely healthy, collaborative space. The wider team and other relevant teams that I closely work with are the same. If you make a major mistake, the culture isn't about blame game - you will work together to fix and prevent it from happening again.
Supportive of generative AI solutions: While other companies are using AI as an excuse for mass layoffs, MoonPay actively encourages us to utilize AI tools to automate our workloads, learn, and level up. It makes the day-to-day experience so much better so far.
Growth: I feel that the company is scaling properly. With the addition of new products and service, someone could easily feel confused or drowning - the management effectively provides necessary support for re-alignment and helpful motivation during these periods. Recent initiatives, such as the streamlined tools request process, the Relocation project, and revamped performance reviews, have significantly improved our work experience into a more efficient and engaging one.
Compensation & peace of mind: I think the pay and benefits are highly competitive for my region. Best of all, you don’t have to beg or play corporate games. The learning budget, WFH setup budget, crypto testing budget, and unlimited PTO are the most useful for me.
Cons
I haven't identified any specific concerns yet. It’s a privilege to work in a company where there is growth, where everyone takes care of our customers, partners, and colleagues. A consistent happy place where you love the kind of work you do.
