I have been working at Moorcroft Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Shift pattern works well for me - early 7:15-1 Monday - Friday, 8:30-4 alternate Saturday's. Lates 1-9 Monday - Thursday 1-7 Friday. Always the option for overtime. Friendly staff, experienced and helpful management - never too busy to help out. Fun environment with challenges and incentives.

    Cons

Facilities are not great as the offices are small - only a handful of parking spaces available. Just a small breakout room with basic kitchen appliances although does the job!

    Advice to Management

Maybe a dress down day on a Saturday or once a month? A more structured employee/employer plan eg. Regular structured 121's, development plans etc - for the staff wanting to progress. More development opportunities on smaller scales, eg secondments for different teams to cover maternity, sickness, holidays.

I worked at Moorcroft Group full-time for less than a year

      Pros

They pay on time, unless you leave, then expect to wait 10 weeks and they'll dock it for any reason they can think of. Good training in the first week. Yearly pay review, mine increased all of £20 per year 😨

      Cons

They'll talk about how to treat the customer fairly but train you how to politely back them into a corner. Lack of ongoing training. Very basic salary and the bonus is now only really achievable if you do 20+ hours of overtime or move departments. You'll work in a pig pen style cubicle. Everything's painted various shades of blue and the open plan office space will undoubtedly cause noise related headaches within the...

      Advice to Management

Think that the people you employ are actually people. Realise that they are being verbally abused on basically every call, and due to FCA rules they can't respond with the free reign you did back in your day, so won't end the shift with a smile on their face unless you do something more than "play family fortunes" or see who can get the most O2 reconnections. Don't just sit back eating a family pack of crisps joking...

      Cons

Not too much progression opportunities. Car parking needs addressing

      Advice to Management

Dress down on a Saturday. More charitable work
