Work environment has become very toxic with complete breakdown of trust, communication and collaboration amongst groups. Nobody wants to take risk or speak up any more, which is mostly due the ongoing witch-hunt conducted by the CEO who is very inexperience, tends to overact, prematurely jumps to conclusions, and therefore makes constant mistakes! She has tried to improve communication coming from senior management, but unfortunately, the town halls showed that she and the executives have no clue on how to grow or sustain the business. Worse, new product releases and features have always been late and full of issues, which result in lot of finger pointing but apparently no ownership/accountability. Integration, test, and support teams always felt victim to those quality issues and often got blame for late delivery of contracts or customer complains. Employees are just keeping quiet, hoping to get by another day and eventually positive (instead of negative) changes will finally come! As the business is getting worse, there is a general feeling/expectation that the Federal Way facility will be shut down in a few years or that Morpho will get rid of this business. It is time to look for rewarding/meaningful jobs at other companies!

Work environment has begun to decline. Some employees are breaking the trust and taking advantage of the company because they know how to abuse the company’s system. Employees, are missing in action for several hours in rider to take care of personal matters such as picking up the children at school everyday, watching youtube on the computer during work hours, and/or reading international news on the computer. Employees are also talking on the phone with their significant others or children on the phone for hours in front of the computer while pretending to review the system. The project manager had to find this employee to get a status of the project. Employee are also known to waste time as early as an hour into arriving at the office by walking around the MorphoTrak’s parking lot or just sitting around in the lunch room all while still being paid the full eight hours they should be spending working on project. After awhile these behaviors become repetitive and yet they are still working at MorphoTrak. In my opinion, the worst thing I've seen at MorphoTrak is that employees are taking portable hard drives home, which is loaded with a confidential customer converted records data.
